Itinerary
Day 1 -
Hometown
Depart hometown on own arrangement - Fly into Rome airport (FCO) and fly home from Venice (VCE) - Best Single
Travel will gladly assist on air arrangements
Day 2 -
Rome
Arrive Rome in the morning, you will be met at the airport and transferred to our hotel. Time to relax or free
exploration before meeting your host for a meet and greet and an optional dinner.
Day 3 -
Rome
Put on your walking shoes for a full day tour of Rome using the hop-on hop-off bus. Visit the most important
wonders and sites of Ancient Rome. Of course there will be time for lunch and shopping.
Explore the Vatican with a local guide. Stroll the Vatican Museums, which houses over 9
miles of the most extensive collection of art in the world with our knowledgeable guide. Brilliantly decorated and
lined with masterpieces, the museums are brimming with treasures and history. Experience Michelangelo’s famous
Creation of Adam with your own eyes as we explore the Sistine Chapel and wander Raphael’s Rooms.
St Peter's
Basilica - is the center of Christianity. The opulence of the
building's interior bears testimony to the wealth of the catholic church in the 16th century.
The Colosseum is probably the most impressive building of the Roman empire. Originally known as the
Flavian Amphitheater, it was the largest building of the era. The monumental structure has fallen into ruins, but even today it is an imposing and beautiful
sight. The Roman Forum was the marketplace of Rome and also the business district and civic center. It was the
center of political and social activity. Toss a
coin in the Trevi Fountain, the most famous and arguably the most beautiful fountain in all of Rome.

Day 4 -
Rome
Day at leisure to do all the things you wanted to do if you ever came
to Rome. Now is your chance.
Don't want to explore Rome alone then hang with your singles host/hostess today as you discover Rome as a
group.
Day 5 - Rome, Florence
Enjoy the Italian countryside as we travel from Rome to Florence by train. Arrive in Florence in time for a quick
bite before our afternoon sightseeing tour with a local guide begins. Explore the birthplace of the
Renaissance and watch as the rich tapestry of Florentine history and culture unfold. Visit the most important sites
between the two most famous hills of Florence - Piazzale Michelangelo and Fiesole - highlighting the ancient heart
of the city on the banks of the River Arno.
A distinctive feature of Florence's skyline is the dome of the cathedral
(Duomo), Santa Maria del Fiore. The
Piazzle Michelangelo overlooks one of the most famous and magnificent views of Florence.
The Basilica di San Miniato al
Monte stands atop one of the highest points in Florence, and has been
described as the finest Romanesque structure in Tuscany and one of the most beautiful churches in
Italy.
Day 6 - Florence,
San Gimignano, Siena, Pisa

on this full day tour:
Siena
- Guided tour of the city rich in art treasures and historic
architecture. It is one of the most popular tourist centers in Italy. It is also noted for its wine and for
its marble. People watch, eat lunch
or sip a glass of wine at Piazza Del Campo
Pisa - Photo opportuinity of the renowned worldwide for its Leaning Tower, is a city full of surprises; from the
bright quays walled by noble buildings, to the web of narrow, medieval alleys leading to the famous Piazza dei
Miracoli. Standing in a large green expanse, Piazza
del Duomo houses a group of monuments known the world over. The four masterpieces of medieval architecture are the
cathedral, the baptistry, the campanile (the 'Leaning Tower') and the cemetery
Day 7 - Florence
Day at leisure to explore Florence on your own or with the new single friends you have made. Visit many of the
museums and see Michaelangelo's David. Stroll the streets and shop the stores or markets.
Day 8 - Florence,
Venice
Another chance to admire the beautiful Italian scenery as we travel by train from Florence to Venice this
morning.
Venice is like an open-air museum, and this afternoon we will tour
the Piazza San Marco, St. Mark's Square. Our walking tour highlights all the important monuments, from San
Marco Square to the Rialto Bridge. Learn the history behind the famous landmarks, including the basilica's
Byzantine heritage and the adjoining prisons of the Doge's Palace.
Day 9 - Venice
Explore the famous islands of the Venice lagoon - Murano, Burano and Torcello - on a half-day excursion. You'll see
a glass-blowing display on Murano, shop for lace on Burano and visit Venice's first church on the tranquil island
of Torcello.
Boarding a
comfortable motor boat, speed along the Venetian lagoon to Murano, famous for its glassware. During the visit
explore shops, factories and watch the skilled glass-blowers as they create works of
art. Re-board the boat and journey to the island of Burano to admire picturesque fishermen's
houses painted in bright pastel colors, and, of course, the famous lace.
The last island stop
is Torcello, the earliest center of civilization in the Venetian lagoon. See the cathedral of Santa Maria
Assunta, founded in the 7th century, and the excavated remains of the circular baptistery in the church of
Santa Fosca.

exploring, shopping or relaxing before our Farewell Dinner!
Day 10 - Depart Italy
Enjoy a final breakfast with new single friends then say Arrivederci to Italy as we make our way back home and the
