Along the way we make a stopover at Wat Arum, the temple of Dawn, before continuing to
the Grand Palace, dedicated to the Thai Royal Family’s ceremony.
Nearby are the magnificent Wat
Phra Kaew, which is famous for the Emerald Buddha Image
and the Vimarnmek Museum, the world's
largest building entirely made of golden teak. After a stop for lunch, we visit this complex and drive through the many
vibrant streets of China Town to one of the most significant temples
in Bangkok. The Wat Pho houses a gigantic gold plated
Reclining Buddha.
Tonight we take the elevator to the 76th floor to
the Highest International Buffet in Thailand for our Welcome

Day 4
- Saturday: Bangkok
- Ayuthaya
We drive north out of town
though the scenic countryside to Ayuthaya, the ancient capital of Siam from
1350 to
1767 AD. This glamorous city was all but destroyed
by the hands of Burmese, however it is still fascinating to explore
the ruined temples. On arrival visit the largest temple of
Wat Phra
Sisanphet, used as the Royal Temple
Palace by several kings. The next site is Wat Chai Wattanaram built by King Prasathong in 1630, a huge prang surrounded by
smaller ones to symbolize mount Meru,
the home of the heavenly gods.
We continue to Bang Pa In,
which was served as the summer palace for many Thai monarchs. This
structure has a captivating collection of marvelous pavilions in a variety
of Thai, Chinese, Italian and Victorian architectural
styles.
Welcome onboard the luxurious
cruiser “Grand Pearl” at Wat Potangtai Pier near Bangsai (the royal folk
arts and handicrafts center). Superb buffet lunch which includes a
delightful variety of oriental and western cuisine will be served. Relax
and enjoy the fascinating scenery on the River of Kings as we cruise back

Day 5 - Sunday: Bangkok - Damnern Saduak
- Kanchanaburi - Sai Yok
Heading out of town we make our way to Kanchanaburi with a stopover at the picturesque
floating market of
Damnern
Saduak, which opens early in the
morning till noon. Here you will have a chance to go around by boat,
exploring the bustling trade of local villagers.
We continue our journey to Kanchanaburi. This
enchanting town has plenty to see, the famous bridge
over the River Kwai, the sobering War
Cemetery and the Jeath War
Museum. We include
these in a short sightseeing tour before we make our way though
the beautiful countryside to Sai Yoke national
park.
Check into our Floating Jungle Rafts, the
magnificent close-to-nature floating lodge. Enjoy the stunning nature
surroundings of the tropical forest, a unique blend of the culture and
tradition of Mon people, and the history of World War II. Dine under
the clear blue sky and see the river flowing at its own pace.
Day 6 - Monday: Sai Yok - Helfire Pass - Kanchanaburi -
Bangkok
The exploration of Kanchanaburi Region continues with a drive to the
Hellfire Pass. This world famous site features
the fascinating museum
chronicling the events of World War II and the notorious "Death
Railway". This rail link was all but partly destroyed by the
offensive, however it is still
fascinating to walk along
the ruins.
We make our way to the Tiger Temple, home of wild tigers. They can be
seen close up and are touchable. Upon leaving this site we drive to
Nam Tok and board a train ride through the breathtaking
landscape and the wooden bridge built along the mountainside by
the allied prisoners of the second World War. The train journey deliver us
to Takilen Station where we meet up with our driver and return to

Day 7 - Tuesday: Bangkok - Chiang Mai
Fly to Chiang Mai today, the capital of the north
and rich with historical and cultural heritage. Chiang
Mail has over 300 temples and we visit the most
famous one ontop of Doi Suthep Mountain, Wat Prathat
Temple. The temple grounds offer a panoramic view over the
surrounding countryside. Chiang Mai has been always known for the
exquisite handicrafts made from hill tribe
people’s traditional wares. Set off on a short drive to the
villages of Sankampaeng and Borsarng to see the various cottage
industries including silk weaving, wood carving, silver ware and
umbrellas making.
On the way back to our hotel,
we drive through the old city of Chiang Mai. Relax before
tonight's dinner show at Kantok restaurant.

Day 8
- Wednesday: Chiang Mai - Chiang
Dao Elephant Camp- Chiang
Mai
Today we make our way through the scenic mountain
backdrop to Chiang Dao Elephant Camp, which is 30
miles northwards of Chiang Mai. Visit the elephant camp set
in a lush jungle area and watch the many elephants perform
amazing feats of strength and skill at the command of the mahouts. The
demonstration includes elephant bathing in the river, working in the
jungle, dragging and pushing logs. Even see elephants playing
basketball and painting. The highlight of the day is our
exhilarating elephant trek through the jungle, past bamboo trees and
hanging creepers. 
Then relax as we board a short bamboo raft trip along the Mae Taeng
River. Next we drive a few miles to a Padong "long neck" tribe
village. The women of the tribe wear long brass coils around their
neck which actually pushes the collarbone down, giving them the
appearance of an extended neck. This tribe has
come from Burma as refugees in recent years due to the persecution of
the Burmese government. Spend some time in the village before
we drive back to Chiang Mai.
Tonight free time to visit the
vibrant night market which is full of local

Day 9
- Thursday: Chiang Mai -
Pattaya
After a short flight back to Bangkok,
we head to Pattaya. Along the way we stop at the Sriracha
Tiger Zoo and
Crocodile Farm, home to Thailand's
largest Bengal Tigers. We will also find a large number of
other animals including crocodiles, ostriches, single hump
camels, kangaroos and an aviary of exotic birds.
Our drive continues to the world famous Pattaya
Beach, nestled along a picturesque bay on the East Coast of the Gulf
of Thailand. From a fishing village in the 60's, Pattaya has emerged
as a favorite Southeast Asian vacation spot. Check to our
hotel before you decide on the night attractions for your

Day 10 - Friday: Pattaya - Coral
Island
Nothing beats spending the day relaxing and working on your tan on an
idyllic island. Our day begins with a boat trip towards Koh Lan (Coral
Island) in the west of Pattaya Straits. Spend the day hanging
out on beautiful beaches and swimming in translucent water
with an abundance of coral. Optional activities including
para-sailing, jet skiing and windsurfing are also
available. If you don't want to get wet you can view the coral from a
glass bottom boat. Have lunch at one of the many seafood restaurants along
the beach.
Tonight enjoy our Farewell Dinner before partying the night

Pattaya - Bangkok
Sleep late or enjoy a morning on
the beach before we drive back to Bangkok. After checking into our
hotel free time to buy that last minute souvenir, have a Thai massage

After our final breakfast together our
Thailand adventure end with our transfer to the airport. It is time
to say goodbye to all our new single travel friends who are departing for
home.
